Quarterly SCBC Meeting: Biomass & the EPA Clean Power Plan

Members of the South Carolina Biomass Council are invited to a presentation by Myra Reece, Bureau Chief for Air Quality of the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) on the recently finalized EPA Clean Power Program and its implications for biomass in South Carolina. South Carolina will be developing its State Implementation Plan over the next months and it will be important to know how biomass will be counted in achieving state emission reduction targets.

 

The meeting will be held Wednesday Sept 9th at 10:30am in the large conference room at the Harbison Environmental Education Center, Harbison State Forest, 5600 Broad River Road, Columbia SC 29212.

 

Members of the SCBC and their guests are invited to attend. Registration is limited to the first 60 members (and their guests) who RSVP due to space considerations.
